The 2025 China-Europe Business School Conference and ACE PhD Symposium was held from Dec 10 to 12 at the Science and Art Center of Xiamen University (XMU), focusing on how artificial intelligence is reshaping management research and education.

The event brought together more than 80 scholars and PhD students from countries and regions worldwide, including China, the United Kingdom, the United States, and across Europe, to discuss AI-driven academic innovation.

Participants visited Xiamen Xiangyu Group on Dec 10, a corporate powerhouse specializing in commodity supply chains and integrated industrial services, to gain firsthand insight into the group's digital operations and cross-border trade platforms. This visit demonstrated how the conglomerate integrates AI across its portfolio, spanning port logistics and financial services.

During the Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools meetings, faculty from both regions engaged in in-depth discussions on research innovation, disciplinary trends, and industry–academia collaboration through roundtables and site visits.

The paper presentations and exchanges on AI-related topics across business disciplines spanned seven specialized tracks, complemented by a poster session showcasing 12 high-impact projects.

Concluding the event, Jean Charroin, vice-chairman of the Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools and dean of ESSCA School of Management, lauded the academic results and called for deeper China-Europe synergy in business education.
