Xiamen University (XMU) welcomed nearly 50 exchange students from 14 countries to its Siming Campus and Xiang'an Campus. The orientation program included guided tours of XMU's historic architecture and comprehensive briefing sessions designed to help the international cohort integrate into campus life.

During the campus tours, students explored key academic and residential facilities, including the university's signature Tan Kah Kee-style buildings, libraries, and athletic complexes. These visits were followed by orientation workshops where faculty members provided detailed information on academic resources, digital information systems, and campus safety protocols.

University administrators also introduced cross-cultural support services and encouraged the exchange students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as the International Cultural Festival and various student organizations. These initiatives were intended to help students navigate their new environment while promoting mutual understanding across different cultural backgrounds.

The orientation concluded with sessions focused on practical life in Xiamen, ensuring that the incoming students were prepared for their academic studies and campus life during their stay.
