The Economics of Globalization and Chinese Economy (EGCE) program at XMU's Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and the School of Economics (SOE) offers a rigorous graduate experience with a global perspective.

Designed for both master's and doctoral students, the program is entirely taught in English and combines comprehensive training in economic fundamentals with specialized courses focused on Chinese and global economic dynamics.

Students benefit from an academic environment led by distinguished faculty renowned for their research excellence and teaching quality in a department ranked 78th globally in Economics and Econometrics in the 2025 QS World University Rankings.

EGCE provides unique opportunities, including a one- to two-semester exchange at XMU's partner program, Economics of Globalization and European Integration (EGEI), in Europe.
