The first gold-winning project focused on industrializing particle damping technology for vibration and noise control. Led by Professor Xiao Wangqiang from the School of Aerospace Engineering, the team developed a novel passive vibration control technology that fills domestic gaps in high-end equipment for vibration and impact control.
This technology achieves damping through inelastic particle collisions and friction within structural cavities. This innovation has made an important contribution to China’s independent development of solutions for launch vehicles, high-end ships, and rail transportation.

The second gold-winning project, SHIFT, led by Professor Liu Gang from the School of Public Health, developed an ultra-stable homogeneous drug delivery technology with wide-ranging clinical applications.
By employing supercritical fluid technology, the team achieved uniform and stable mixing of iodized oil with various clinical drugs without adding any external components.
SHIFT offers a novel approach to liver cancer treatment and has broad potential across multiple clinical areas, including dermatology, pulmonary nodule therapy, and sentinel lymph node navigation.
Beyond medicine, the technology also shows promise for non-clinical applications, with a total market potential estimated at billions of yuan.
