On 6 April, the 95thbirthday of Xiamen University,Kostantin Novoselov, the 2010 Nobel Prize winner in Physics, accepted the honorary professorship conferred by Xiamen University.
Kostantin Novoselovhas been supporting Xiamen University, since 2014, in the cultivation of students, scientific research, and discipline programming. At the ceremony, he expressed his thanks to Xiamen University for the honorary position, and promised to further promote the cooperation between Xiamen University and the University of Manchester. After the ceremony,Kostantin Novoselovgave a lecture on“Materials in the Flatland:the story of sp2carbon”.
