On25October 2022, the unveiling ceremony of the XMU Institute of Chinese Modernization was held.XMU Party Secretary Zhang Rong andXMU President Zhang Zongyi jointly unveiled the plaque of the Institute.

In the future, the Institute will focus on the integration of philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, management, art, science, engineering, medicine, and other disciplines to carry out research on topics including“Research on Chinese Modernization”,“ChineseModernization andHigh-standard Opening-up” andso forth. It will also take the initiative to undertake several major projects, conduct in-depth research on the local practice of Chinese modernization, and contribute XMU’s wisdom to the study of Chinese modernization.
