On May 25, through the online voting, Tian Zhongqun, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, professor of College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University, was elected as President Elect for the term 2017-2018 and president of International Society of Electrochemistry(ISE) for the term 2019-2020.
Professor Tian Zhongqun is the second professor of Xiamen University who was elected as president of ISE since Tian Shaowu, professor and former president of Xiamen University, was elected as vice president for the term 1996-1999.
