The first group of Chinese students of XMUM leaves for Malaysia

The first 430 Chinese students for Xiamen University Malaysia Campus (XMUM) have left for Malaysia from September 20^th to the 23^rd, and they have completed six weeks of language training at Xiang’an Campus in order to be better prepared for the learning and living in Malaysia.

Apart from Chinese students, there are over 200 undergraduate students from Malaysia and other countries in Southeast Asia, majoring in 12 different disciplines. Students graduate from XMUM shall be conferred the diploma andthe academic certificate byXiamen University, which shall be recognized by both Malaysian government and Chinese government. In this way, they can enjoy greater possibility to work or for further study in both of the two countries.
