2016 XMU-UniTrier Summer Program on Chinese Law launched

On the morning of September 19th, theopening ceremony of thefirst XMU-UniTrier Summer Program on Chinese Lawwas launched in the Law School of XMU. The14-dayProgramconsists of a10-day session in Xiamen and a 4-day session in Beijing. In Xiamen, members of this program are going to receivelectures on Chinese law and traditional Chineseculture. They shall experience local culture by visiting local courts,firms and families in this city. In the rest four days, they are going to learn Chinese inBeijing.

Last June, Vice President Zhan Xinli and Director Mao Tongwen paid a visit to Trier University (Uni-Trier). It is during their stay there that the program was proposed and defined asa summer program jointly held by the Law School of XMU and the Law School of Uni-Trier.
