Recently, Xiamen University got sponsored from theDepartment of Postgraduate Education of Ministry of Education, Office of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee for the construction of pilot programs in post-graduate education. The grant is RMB￥550,000, abut US$90,000.

The project aims at improving the quality of post-graduate education by creating some pilot programs.

According to the requirement of the project, the appointed universities should focus on the construction of a set of regulations, curriculum designing and teaching reform, setting a model for other universities.
