Card owner: registered XMU student (students of some particular programs excluded)

Usage: With the E-card students can gain access to library services, pay for meals in XMU canteens, purchase in XMU convenience stores and pay for electricity bills of your dorm on campus. It is also the entrance pass to dormitory building or area.

Way of Recharge: The E-card needs recharging. Please follow the instructions below:

ⅰ) Apply for a connection between your E-card and your bank account (which should be available in any bank branch on campus). Please bring along your E-card, your passport and your bank card to get the service in the bank branch on campus.

ⅱ) Use the blue E-card transfer machine available in canteens on campus and recharge the money from your designated bank account to the E-card. Considering that the instruction on the blue machines is provided in Chinese, please get help from those who can understand it.

ⅲ) Access the E-card machine to pay for your meal or things you purchase in canteens and stores on campus.

ⅳ) Repeat the second step to recharge the E-card when the money in the E-card is not enough.

Electricity Payment: Foreign students accommodating in Nanguang 4 should pay the electricity bill via the blue E-card transfer machine after entering the number of ”0314+Your Room No.”, i.e. if you live in Nanguang 4-413, enter the number of 03140413. Considering that the instruction on the blue machines is provided in Chinese, please get the help from those who can understand it.

Damaged or Lost: Please report to XMU E-card Center if your E-card gets lost or damaged. The card can be re-issued at the fee of RMB20 with your passport.

Bank Account Change: If the bank card connected to your E-card gets lost or changed, please cancel their connection in XMU E-card Center and re-build the connection for the new bank account number and your E-card in relevant bank branches on campus.
