[Conference] 2018 International Symposium on Contemporary Labor Economics
The 2018 International Symposium on Contemporary Labor Economics will be held by the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) from December 8-9 at Xiamen University, China.
The symposium is jointly organized by WISE, the Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) of Jinan University, and the Department of Economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The purpose of this Symposium is to facilitate the exchange of ideas between Chinese and international scholars on labor economics. We invite submissions from all areas related to labor economics, including but not limited to education and human capital, employment, income inequality, migration, and the labor market impact of trade, globalization, technology, and aging. Empirical research on or theoretical work with empirical applications to the Chinese labor market is particularly welcome.
