[Conference] The 10th Biennial Conference of the Hong Kong Economic Association
The 10th Biennial Conference of the Hong Kong Economic Association (HKEA) will be held at Xiamen University in Xiamen, China, from December 14 to 15, 2018.
This year’s conference is co-organized with the School of Economics, Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE), and Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economics Research of Xiamen University. The Conference will bring academics and researchers together to present frontier research outputs and discuss recent economic issues of common concern.
One of the themes of this year’s Conference is China’s 40 years’ reform and opening-up. Accordingly, we have invited a number of renowned scholars to deliver keynote speeches. They include Chong-En Bai (Tsinghua University), Kaushik Basu (Cornell University), Rachel Ngai (London School of Economics), and Michael Zheng Song (The Chinese University of Hong Kong).
