From May 22 to 28, a delegation of Xiamen University, led by Zhang Yan, Party Secretary of the university, visited seven universities in Japan and Korea and signed a series of agreements in terms of all-round cooperation. These universities included Waseda University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Nagoya University, Hokkaido University, Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Inha University. The cooperation focused on the exchange of faculties, students and joint Ph D program, etc.
