On April 23, 2016 Nanyang Forum as a part of the 5^th Nanyang Cultural Festival, was held in Xiamen University. The topic for the forum is “New Maritime Silk Road Construction and ASEAN Integration”. More than 160 representatives, including 11 experts, from 10 ASEAN countries attended the forum. Speakers shared their views on the exchange of education, construction of mutual trust, infrastructure for interconnection and interworking, as well as win-win cooperation.

    Nanyang Forum is an annual conference for ASEAN countries to exchange ideas in promoting the friendship and cooperation between ASEAN countries. It is jointly hosted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Consulates General of Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand in Xiamen.
