Chiang Mai University looks for more cooperation with Xiamen University

    Recently, a delegation led by Niwes Nantachit, president of Chiang Mai University, Thailand, visited Xiamen University. The delegation was composed of Rome Chiranukriom, vice president of Chiang Mai University, Pisit Leeahtam, dean of School of Economics, Rien Loveemongkol, director of Language Insitute, and Kong Fangliang, Ph.D student in Chiang Mai University. According to Niwes Nantachit, Xiamen University has strong subjects in Economics, Law, Anthropology, etc. He hoped that both sides can cooperate in these fields. Zhu Chongshi, president of Xiamen University met the delegation and suggested that the cooperation be undertaken step by step, initiated in economics and gradually expanded in other fields.
