On 6 April, the celebration of the 95^th birthday of Xiamen University was held in Jian Nan Auditorium. More than 3000 people, including the university faculty and students, old schoolfellows, Konstantin Novoselov, the 2010 Nobel laureate in Physics, Cédric Villani, the 2010 Fields Medal winner, D．Grahame Hardie, member of the UK Royal Society, and presidents of universities in ASEAN countries, etc., attended the ceremony.
