    The recruitment involves a variety of academic disciplines including: the humanities and social sciences, the natural sciences, engineering and high-technology, medicine and other emerging research-orientated areas and multidisciplinary fields. Four types of professorships are currently available: distinguished professorships, full professorships, associate professorships, and assistant professorships. Some positions will be associated with the talent programs such as “The Thousand Talents Plan” (including the Recruitment Program for Young Professionals) or the Yangtze River Scholar Program.
