Crowd-sourcing for lectures
In the lobby of Economy College building, a student is scanning a QR code on the poster with the slogan “Can lectures be crowd-sourced?”The QR code includes a list of lecturers and their fields, but no topics. The topic is discussed and decided on the wechat platform by the audience who have the same interest. In another word, audience can choose the speaker and the content. Such a new way of participation often attracts large audience. In order to improve the module of lectures, the Economy College has organized a team in charge of the content planning, designing contents that help develop students’problem solving skills and inviting lecturers who have rich experience in the field study and practice. For example, this summer school(June 22- July 25) the college has invited the speakers who are from http://www.bmigroup.com/http://www.ebay.cn/, http://www.jd.com/, http://www.qq.com/, http://cos.name/, http://www.yhd.com. The list of the speakers are selected by the audience by crowd-sourcing.
