Xiamen Eye Center of Xiamen University ranks 8 in 2014 Chinese Hospital Science and Technology Power Lists, according to the organizers, Medical Information Research, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and The Medical Sciences News. The ranks are as follows:

Staff of Xiamen Eye Center delivers high quality health-care service in all the sub-specialties of ophthalmology, including refractive surgery, ocular surface and corneal diseases, cataract, glaucoma, vitreous body and retina diseases, strabismus-amblyopic and pediatric ophthalmology, ocular plastic surgery, and traumatic ocular diseases. Xiamen Eye Center also provides optometry service and general medical examination. It is the first one utilizing series of top-notch technology in ophthalmology healthcare in Fujian province, such as 23G/25G minimal invasive vitrectomy, second generation mnemonic lacrimal point embolotherapy, bi-manual minimal invasive cold phacoemulsification technique, coaxial and microincision cataract surgery, customized ablation for myopia, lacrimal duct transplantation, non-penetrating trabeculectomy, vitrectomy under temporary keratoprosthesis, complicated corneal transplantation, fornix reconstruction with amniotic membrane limbal stem cell transplantation, and etc.
