XMU's NIDVD rated as Excellent Base for International Science & Technology Cooperation

Earlier this month, XMU’s National Institute of Diagnostics and Vaccine Development in Infectious Diseases (hereafter referred to as NIDVD) was rated as “excellent base” of 2016. This base of our university has won unanimous acclaim from the assessment panel of experts who think highly of its strong capability to independently conduct global scientific and technological cooperation, its broad scope of cooperation, multiple partners, fruitful achievements, the leading and exemplary role it has played, its reasonable team structure, efficient management and effective recruitment of capable personnel, its superb operational and regulatory mechanism as well as its superlative service assurance.

  

NIDVD of XMU was recognized as a national base for international science and technology cooperation by Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC in 2009. The same year saw its entry onto the list of “National Bases for Cooperation with Taiwan in Science and Technology” which have been appraised in batches by the Ministry since 2015. The batch being appraised this year were the 131 bases that had been approved between 2009 and 2011, among which, 14 centers received the awards for excellence, the rate of which being merely 10.67%.
