Usually in the 3rd quarter of each year XMU sees the peak of check-in for its newly-employed staff. And over the last three quarters of this year, there are a total of 146 new faculty members who have joined us to work together to live out the dream of XMU. Among the new recruits, there are 69 teachers, 19 engineering and laboratory technicians, 45 administrators and 13 student counselors.

It’s worthy of note that XMU has gradually revamped and upgraded the system to select and hire new talents, with its personnel composition being optimized year by year. Of the newly engaged teachers, 68 are doctorate holders, and 40 acquired their degrees abroad, which accounts for as high as 98.6% and 57.9% respectively.

In sync with the optimization of personnel composition, the Department of Human Resources invariably aims to provide a higher level of service by streamlining work processes, cutting through the red tape and offering XMU-style one-stop services for the new faculty members. The New Staff Check-in System makes it possible for the personnel department to coordinate with other relevant departments with higher efficiency, and thus get the sign-in job done at one go. In addition, the XMU network greatly expands and extends the service beyond office premises, providing a whole range of services to meet the particualr needs of each and every new arrvial in both work and life, enabling them to learn the ropes and fit in as soon as possible.
