On the morning of September 24^th, the Certificate Program on International Capital Market kicked off in the lecture hall on the third floor of Keli Building. The course is co-organized by Jinyuan Institute of Xiamen University and Hongkong Stock Exchange (HSE). This is its debut lesson in Fujian Povince since the cooperation commenced. The class started off with a video speech given by Mr. Ba Shusong, the chief Chinese economist of HSE.

Jinyuan Institute of Xiamen University is a cooperation platform co-built by the School of Management and Xiamen Jinyuan Investment Group. Its mission is to explore new mechanism for the cooperation between schools and businesses. By tapping into the resources of both sides and capitalizing on the prime location across from Taiwan, it also aims to push forward the development of the financial and management disciplines and the establishment of a financial center across Xiamen Island through measures such as collaborative innovation, achievements transformation, and talent cultivation. This course is not only loaded with quintessential "real stuff", but also conducive to public welfare and it's a demonstration of the institute's mission to "serve Xiamen University and its academic pursuits." This course comprises four modules that include the newest development in international capital market, stock market operation, corporate finance and cross-board listing, a general review on international capital market products and an introduction to the non-ferrous market.
