On September 29, Mathematical Modeling was launched at iCourses, a Chinese platform of MOOC (http://www.icourses.cn/imooc/), making itself the first online open course of XMU. This means free international access to the course.

The main lecturer is Tan Zhong, the PhD supervisor and professor of the School of Mathematical Sciences, XMU. Mr. Tan, in this open course, would demonstrate on how to apply mathematical modeling as undergraduates and graduates and how does it work for practical problems for researchers and developers.
