On September 13^th, the 2^nd Internet+ College Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (Fujian) (Internet+ CIEC) wrapped up at Fuzhou University. Contestants from Xiamen University (XMU) won two golds, seven silvers and seven bronzes. XMU was awarded the "Excellent Organizer".

The XMU team consists of 58 students and the staff from the Youth League Committee of XMU, Software School, Medical College and School of Life Sciences. Importance has been attached to this event as the XMU Committee of Internet+ CIEC has been established. Moreover, an Expert Commission of Internet+ CIEC, which consists of experts from enterprises, VC organizations, institutions of higher education and research centers, has been founded to provide judges for the competition and instrustions for the contestants.

The national finals are going to be held in mid-October at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan.
