2016 XMU-UniTrier Summer Program on Chinese Law launched

On the morning of September 19th, the opening ceremony of the first XMU-UniTrier Summer Program on Chinese Law was launched in the Law School of XMU. The 14-day Program consists of a 10-day session in Xiamen and a 4-day session in Beijing. In Xiamen, members of this program are going to receive lectures on Chinese law and traditional Chinese culture. They shall experience local culture by visiting local courts, firms and families in this city. In the rest four days, they are going to learn Chinese in Beijing.

Last June, Vice President Zhan Xinli and Director Mao Tongwen paid a visit to Trier University (Uni-Trier). It is during their stay there that the program was proposed and defined as a summer program jointly held by the Law School of XMU and the Law School of Uni-Trier.
